Pastor Calvin J. Grimm is a licensed ordained minister with the United Pentecostal Church International.  He is the son of John and Esther Grimm, retired missionaries to Brazil.  He graduated from the United Pentecostal Bible Institute in New Brunswick, Canada. His ministry then took him into evangelism where he ministered throughout North America and overseas. He married his wife, Missy, in 1988 and Parsons, Tennessee became their home where he later became the Assistant Pastor at the First United Pentecostal Church of Parsons.  In 2001, Pastor Grimm, his wife and their children, Matthew and Carrie, moved to Johnson City, TN and founded Praise & Truth United Pentecostal Church.  As of August 2015, the name of the church was changed to "Discover Pentecost", a United Pentecostal Church.
